Standings (March 30th)

Here are the latest standings. These include everything that I can score right up to this very minute. I have included all of the men's NCAA's except for the champion (which only one person might actually get), the conference winning percentage (which I probably could figure out but haven't yet) and the fantasy game (which I can't score until Tyler Hansbrough is out of games). It also includes the women's Elite Eight, but not the Final Four which won't be determined until late Tuesday night.

The Masters

Our first golf tournament of the year is just around the corner. I will score this the same way we scored the Daytona 500.

What I want from you is to predict the top 3 finishers in order.

Scoring will be as follows. You will recieve 2 points for each of your golfers that actually finishes in the top 3. You will receive 3 "bonus" points for each golfer that finishes exactly where you said they would within the top 3.

To rephrase:
15 points - 3, exactly right
10 points - 2, exactly right
9 points - 3 finishers, 1 exact
7 points - 2 finishers, 1 exact
6 points - 3 finishers, wrong spots
5 points - 1, exactly right
4 points - 2 finishers, wrong spots
2 points - 1 finisher, wrong spot

Starts early morning on Thursday, April 9th.

MLB Season Preview

I've been promising this for a long time...and thankfully, baseball season is almost here. Here is the way baseball will work this season. After the first week, I will begin posting one or two series a week. I will aim for a big weekend series. What I will ask for each series is who will win the series (1 point) and how the series will finish (1 bonus point).

Example: I might post a Friday, Saturday, Sunday series between the Phillies and Mets. You will tell me that the Mets will win 2 games to 1 and I will score it accordingly.

In the meantime, I have some pre-season prop bets for you guys.

Fantasy Game:
Pick 5 players. I will keep track of their total points, rebounds and assists for the ENTIRE TOURNAMENT. You want players who will get big stats and go deep. RULE: You must pick one player from a 1-3 seed, one player from a 4-6 seed, one player from a 7-9 seed, one player from a 10-12 seed, and one player from a 13-16 seed.
Scoring for fantasy will be based on rank. 1st place gets 13 points, 2nd place gets 12 points and so on. Last place will get 0 points.
